I will give you some examples and they break like this. The first three will identify year model. All serial numbers you are interested in, end with 6 numbers. I think I my just rebuild the one I have. I've been looking for one too and finding one that old that is still not bent or dented up has been. Anybody have access to a breakdown of years and serial number breaks for 920 platforms? Is this stuff available to customers on JD's site any place? About three years ago I was looking up some codes on a 7700 tractor and found the serial number for a 1973 7700 combine in Deere's SIS data bank.
